When it comes to selling a home in the current market, nothing is out of bounds. Extreme marketing tactics, and unorthodox preparation for sale techniques are becoming more common in the effort to get properties sold.

Builders putting money into an escrow account to guarantee value for certain time period. ie. if the home value drops 18 months from purchase the owner gets enough to make up the difference from what they paid or the entire escrow balance.
That’s actually a brilliant marketing move. It removes the biggest hurdle for a buyer to buy today, rather than wait and see what happens. I wonder what procedures/controls are in place to determine the 18 month down the road value?
